Registered Nurse/ Inpatient Rehab/Med Surg

SCHEDULING DETAILS AND CHARTING

" Shift hours: 3x12s, nights, 7p-7a

" Charting: EPIC experience preferred

" Weekend Requirement:
May be EOW or 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week scheduling block

" RTO, Block & Special Scheduling Requests: ALL requests must be included with the submission.

" Call off Policy:
Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2-weeks.

" Holiday Requirement:
Must work one holiday per 13-week contract.

" Accept First-Time Travelers:
Yes

" Locals Accepted? Radius Rule:
No. Refer to the Submittal Instructions for radius rule criteria.

" Pending License Accepted:
Yes, only if the candidate holds a single-state license from a non-compact state. Otherwise, submission must include an active Virginia State or Compact RN/LPN license.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS

" BLS
" CRRN preferred
" CPI Blue Cert highly preferred

REQUIRED CLINICAL SKILLS
========================
" Experience in Med Surg and Rehab settings

" Skilled in peripheral line care/management, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration and tanks and isolation precautions

UNIT DETAILS AND FLOATING
==========================
" 1:6 ratios, may flex up to 1:7

" Common patient diagnosis: SCVA, SCI, TBI, amputee, multi-trauma

" 33-bed adult Med Surg unit (no telemetry)

" This hospital is across the street from CRMH and the nurses are required to float to CRMH if needed (MS only -- 11W, 10W, 9W, and 5W).
