Description:
This position is for a Cath Lab Nurse.
The role involves providing care to adult patients undergoing cardiac procedures.
Clinicians will take on-call shifts and late shifts within every six-week period.
One full weekend of call must be scheduled together each cycle.
Clinicians must be available to work or take call on one holiday per 13-week contract.
Charting will be done using Epic.
The unit includes six procedure rooms with a daily census of 15 to 20 patients.
Common diagnoses include coronary artery disease, valve disorders, and heart failure.
Advanced procedures performed include TAVR, left atrial appendage closures, and thrombectomy.
The cath lab is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, such as IABP and Impella.
The role emphasizes safety and compliance in a fast-paced environment.
