• Oversee the frontline in the absence of the Front End Manager.
• Coach, teach and develop frontline team members to ensure excellent member service.
• Lead and motivate the Front End Lead (FEL) and team for successful execution of membership programs and front line operations.
• Monitor, drive and coach for membership and member experience goals and results; ensure all membership products are offered and member orders/requests are processed positively, timely, and efficiently.
• Delegate work, monitor staffing and ensure compliance with operational standards.
• Provide excellent customer service to Members; maintain a safe and positive environment for team members and Members.
• Model leadership, communicate effectively, and build high-performing teams with a culture of collaboration and ethical decision making.
• Lead with the team member and member in mind; address concerns and escalate as appropriate; execute GOLD Member Standards (Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate) and GOLD club standards daily.
• Supervise front end activities (including cashiers, SCO, and membership desk) in the absence of Front End Manager.
• Drive membership metrics through acquisition, retention, loyalty and experience programs; improve speed, productivity and member engagement on the front end.
• Train, coach, motivate and evaluate frontline Team Members on tasks, responsibilities and expectations; utilize cashier observation forms and metrics to drive performance.
• Perform front end responsibilities including closing through POS and handling member escalated service issues; provide backup for cashiers and Membership Sales Ambassadors when needed.
• Scan club merchandise through POS to ensure accurate inventory counts and purchase totals; manage self-checkout and scan & pan lanes.
• Assist Members with operations and technical difficulties; collect payments and issue receipts, refunds or credits as needed.
• Stay up-to-date on promotions and product information; apply discounts and coupons appropriately.
• Maintain cleanliness of front-of-house member servicing areas; navigate system applications and use MyWork for workflow management.
• Perform other duties as assigned and maintain club policies and procedures; regular, predictable full attendance is essential.

• Prior leadership experience preferred.
• Prior Membership or sales knowledge and experience preferred.
• Prior cashier experience preferred.
• Basic math skills required.

• Most of the time spent moving about on hard surfaces; may require bending, reaching, lifting up to 30 pounds, and occasionally lifting heavier objects with assistance.
• Indoor environment with infrequent exposure to temperature extremes and loud noises; occasional exposure to cleaning agents.

Pay transparency requirements note a compensation range; starting pay is from $18.50 per hour. The company offers benefits including weekly pay, free memberships, paid time off, health benefits, 401(k) with match, and employee stock purchase plan (eligibility varies by position).
