Task Associate

The Task Associate (TA) is responsible for delivering operational excellence in support of sales drivers. This includes keeping fixtures stocked, maintaining store cleanliness, and completing assigned tasks. The TA supports the Merchandise Manager and Operations Manager with performance metrics, people, and process compliance.

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding store retail goals by ensuring all tasks are executed and product is available.
• Meet compliance and execution goals related to the task dashboard and complete operational processes, including shipment, replenishment, merchandise sets, and inventory counts.
• Maintain prompt and regular attendance.

• Contribute to an inclusive environment supporting teammates, peers, and guests.
• Participate in ongoing brand and category training to enable professional development and drive sales.

• Be knowledgeable of Ulta Beauty’s policies, procedures, and standards.
• Adhere to the dress code.
• Complete merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, inventory procedures, and shipment processing using Ulta Beauty’s technology.
• Drive operational excellence by keeping the assigned work area replenished, signed, and faced, and ensuring testers are available.
• Maintain outstanding store cleanliness on the sales floor, restrooms, cash wrap, backroom, and break area.
• Protect company assets by following loss prevention best practices and providing exceptional service.
• Execute other operational tasks as directed.

• High school diploma preferred.

• 1 year relevant experience or equivalent education and experience preferred.

• Proficient with basic technology such as POS system and Apple devices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Problem‑solving ability.

• Work a flexible schedule, including early morning, day, evening, weekend, overnight, and holidays.

• Continuous mobility throughout the store during shift.
• Frequent standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, and twisting.
• Continuous or frequent lifting, carrying, and moving of up to 25 lbs.
• Continuous coordination and manipulation of objects.

Compensation ranges from $13.50 to $18.40 per hour, based on education, experience, shift, location, and business needs. Eligible associates may earn overtime as required by law.
