Senior Oncology Specialist

In this vital role you will be the liaison to our customers by providing clinical knowledge of our products to medical professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Create and execute a comprehensive territory plan, delivering branded sales messages, executing planned programs, scheduling and following up with medical educational programs, and achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Utilize internal and external relationships to service and manage accounts, ensuring product access, resolving/retriaging reimbursement issues, and maintaining product contracts.
  • Craft an effective marketing strategy to aid in driving sales.
  • Analyze sales activity effectiveness and territory data, and develop territory plans with the District Manager.
  • Maintain passion for the products throughout the sales cycle while building the brand and serving patients.
  • Partner with colleagues to share best practices and pursue continuous curiosity and learning.
  • Leverage disease‑state awareness, industry, regulatory, and competitive changes to deliver agreed results.
What We Expect Of You
  • Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare or a scientific field that is not sales related.
  • Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare or a scientific field that is not sales related.
  • High school diploma or GED and 8 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare or a scientific field that is not sales related.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Preferred experience in Oncology.
  • Three or more years of sales and/or marketing experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or medical device industries.
  • Product or hospital sales experience in the areas of oncology, nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology, inflammation, neurology, endocrinology, hepatology, gastroenterology, or infectious diseases, and the diseases and treatments involved.
  • Local market knowledge.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration.

    Driving for Results; and Cultivating Internal and External Relationships.
What You Can Expect Of Us

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is $158,727 to $177,179. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
