APV is a security integrator with the experience and technical expertise, to provide enterprise level access control and security products and systems. Few security integrators can provide or install door and hardware products and are totally dependent upon using a subcontractor for complicated door and hardware installation and service. Door and hardware companies that are also legitimate security integrators are even more rare.

APV is factory-trained and certified for major vendors of access control systems and security products. Service and support are available 24/7 for those facilities that need the peace-of-mind of a service contract.

About the Role:

  • Cooperate with leading partners in vertical markets and industries such as K-12, higher education, federal, state, and local governments, multi-family residential & MURB, healthcare, and datacenters.
  • Develop business opportunities, conduct needs assessment (customer site walks), write proposals for system installation and service opportunities, follow up with customers to convert opportunities to closed-won business.
  • Increase and develop market awareness through networking, presentations, eventattendanceand industry associations.
  • Collaborate and partner with the Security Integrations Department to manage and complete projects,delivering with quality and on time.
  • Represent APV as a reliable, innovative supplier of high-quality innovative doors, frames, hardware, and security products.
  • Work with established APV vendors to promote and service their products.
  • Generate sales that meet the company’s marginobjectivesthrough the identification and conversion of leads, referrals, invitations to bid, and add-on replacement opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, ora related field preferred.
  • Three (3) or more years of sales experience within a complex, technical, and diverse B2B business structure is strongly desired.
  • Extensive experience working within a security integrator and/or with access controls is highly advantageous.
  • Candidates must be DCJS registered or have a clean, clear profilein order topass background checks and obtain DCJS registration, as required by the State of VA.
  • Professional certifications with enterprise level electronic access control or camera systems desired.
