Neuroscience Sales Specialist responsible for driving sales within a specified Virginia territory, including Blacksburg, Christiansburg, Pulaski, Marion, and Martinsville. Primary objective s include meeting/exceeding sales targets ethically, understanding customer needs, and supporting pull-through activities aligned with Intra-Cellular Therapies' vision for neuropsychiatric disorders. Responsibilities encompass in-person and virtual engagement with healthcare providers and community centers, utilizing budgets effectively, developing local strategic plans, and collaborating with colleagues for best practices.

The role also involves administrative management of sales activities, data analysis, and maintaining knowledge of local market dynamics.

Minimum of 2 years healthcare sales, account management, or B2B sales experience; 3+ years in specialty pharmaceuticals preferred, especially in launch, antipsychotic, or bipolar indications. Requires a Bachelor's degree, valid driver’s license, and a passion for patient-centric care. Strong behavioral skills include communication, cross-functional collaboration, data literacy, and strategic planning. Ability to adapt to evolving environments and virtual engagement is essential.

Focus on neuroscience and neuropsychiatric disorders, with emphasis on antipsychotics and bipolar treatments. The role involves understanding formulary processes, compliance, and engaging with healthcare professionals and community mental health centers. Some travel, including overnight and periodic corporate visits, is expected. Preferred skills include a tech-savviness towards AI and emerging technologies, reflecting a focus on innovation in healthcare delivery.
