What You'll Do:
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government office front desk location.
Monitor the front desk area, greet visitors, verify identification and/or credentials, and direct authorized guests, employees, and vendors in accordance with site access procedures.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
Maintain accurate visitor logs, access records, and other required documentation, and report security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
Answer questions, assist with badge and entry procedures, and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent front desk presence and attention to site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

An armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
