** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a utilities location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site procedures.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, perimeter routes, and/or other assigned areas to help identify potential concerns and support security-related operations.

+ Monitor entry and exit points, check credentials and/or visitor information, and document activity involving personnel, vehicles, and/or deliveries as required by the location.

+ Communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or first responders regarding security-related issues, maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or incidents observed during patrols.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ A guard card and/or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
