Job Overview

FACT Construction LLC is actively seeking an experienced and detail-driven Concrete Flat Work Foreman to oversee concrete finishing operations on large-scale commercial and industrial projects. In this role, you’ll manage a crew of 4 or more, coordinate layouts, oversee forming and rebar operations, and ensure accurate slope and grade execution. From machine operation to mix design knowledge, this role requires a high-level technician and a proven leader.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a concrete flat work crew of 4+ laborers on various commercial and industrial job sites
  • Read and interpret blueprints, rebar shop drawings, and site plans
  • Perform layout and accurately calculate slopes and grades for site preparation
  • Set up and operate layout instruments including theodolites and laser levels
  • Oversee and participate in formwork and rebar tying operations
  • Operate finishing tools and equipment, including walk‑behind and ride‑on trowel machines
  • Understand and apply concrete mix designs and calculate volume requirements
  • Operate heavy machinery including skid steers, forklifts, mini‑excavators, and power screeds
  • Maintain safe work zones and ensure OSHA compliance on‑site
  • Collaborate with site supervisors and coordinate with other trades
  • Lead by example in safety, efficiency, and high‑quality workmanship
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of concrete finishing experience
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory or foreman‑level experience
  • ACI Certification is a plus
  • Ability to read blueprints and rebar shop drawings
  • Skilled in layout using laser levels and theodolites
  • Proficient in slope and grade calculations and mix design understanding
  • Equipment operation experience: trowel machines, skid steer, forklift, screeds, and mini excavator
  • Bilingual skills are a plus (English/Spanish preferred)
  • CPR/First Aid certified
  • OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 required
  • Forklift, Fall Protection certifications preferred

Schedule

Full-Time

Monday–Friday, with availability for weekend and overtime work depending on project demands

Work Location

Remote field‑based role on job sites across assigned project regions. Travel required.
