Summary/ObjectiveThe Electrical Mechanic will install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Work will be performed in accordance with relevant codes and may include installation or servicing of streetlights, intercom systems, or electrical control systems.

- Tests electrical systems and continuity of circuits using devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
- Assembles, installs, tests, and maintains electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures with hand tools and power tools.
- Works from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Interprets blueprints, NEC, and specifications.
- Connects wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Required- 2 – 5 years of experience in the electrical field or equivalent combination of vocational training and experience.
- Ability to follow electrical code manuals to install and repair electrical systems.
- Must be able to multi‑task, work with minimal supervision, follow written and oral instructions, show attention to detail, and demonstrate problem‑solving skills.
- Must pass post‑offer pre‑employment drug screen and may be required to complete additional background checks such as DMV or criminal history.
- Must adhere to all company policy and procedures.
- Must be available and able to travel to multiple job sites as assigned.
- May work in varying temperatures, inside and outside, including inclement weather, heat, humidity, cold, and dampness.
- May work in areas with moderate or high noise levels.
- May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, including dust.
- May be required to work in confined spaces or from high heights.
- Uses construction equipment such as heavy machinery, hand and power tools.
- May work aloft, climb, bend, pull, reach overhead, stand/walk for long periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Frequently uses hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms.
- Must be able to correctly identify all colors of a color‑coded cable and have good vision and depth perception.
- Prior military experience.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
