An immediate position is available for a Trailer Technician in the Roanoke, Virginia Trailer Shop. Lawrence Companies is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our Shop team. This is an hourly full time position, with overtime and weekend work required. This position will work second shift hours.

Requirements

• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers, including brake, tire, and wheel end repair
• Repair lighting and air system hoses and brake components
• Ensures safe and proper tool usage, including maintenance of all equipment associated with the job
• Track repair order time to completion
• Record all maintenance as required
• Keep working area clean and organized
• Follow written and oral instructions

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Basic computer knowledge

Equipment Maintenance Experience

Basic electrical knowledge and understanding of air systems

Welding knowledge is preferred

Must be dependable and customer service oriented

Good verbal communications & documentation skills preferred

Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.

Must have valid Virginia Driver’s License
