Termite Technician

Responsibilities

• Identify customer’s termite problems and apply knowledge of termite behaviors to determine remedial steps.
• Perform termite treatment services safely in accordance with company guidelines and standard practices.
• Apply anti‑termite treatments to structures following schedule, safety procedures, and label instructions.
• Communicate critical conditions that encourage termite activity to the customer, and discuss supplemental procedures and structural modifications.
• Verify that job specifications are appropriate for each work order.
• Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment.
• Complete production forms documenting services provided.
• Interact with customers and explain services rendered.
• Adapt to a variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp and/or dusty locations.
• Prepare the job site for treatment—enter and exit structures and crawl spaces; climb over and on top of structures; ascend and descend stairs and ladders.
• Work up to 20 feet on ladders, in small confined spaces, and on roofs or high areas as required.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including an OSHA‑compliant respirator.
• Maintain flexibility to work Monday‑Friday and Saturdays as needed.

• Clean shaven face for safety (required for rebreather use).
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license from state of residence (company vehicle and gas card provided).
• At least one year of customer service experience; experience in termite control is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Basic math skills—addition, subtraction, multiplication, division in all units of measure, including whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Licenses or certificates required by federal, state, or local regulations (covered by the company).
