Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled, dedicated, and resourceful Plumber to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial and residential buildings. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a challenging and rewarding environment. The ideal candidate is a problem solver who can work independently and collaboratively with a team, ensuring that all plumbing systems are functioning efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

Installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems and fixtures.

Fitting and repairing various types of pipes, including PVC, steel, and copper.

Inspecting and testing plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance.

Handling customer queries and responding to call outs.

Reading blueprints and schematics to understand the layout of plumbing systems.

Diagnosing and fixing faults in plumbing systems and related equipment.

Monitoring and controlling inventory for plumbing supplies.

Collaborating with the construction team to outline the proper placement of plumbing systems.

Ensuring all installations and repairs are up to code.

Training junior team members when required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent; at least 18 years of age.

Minimum 5 years work experience as Plumber or similar role with plumbing experience: equipment, tools, machines, or programs to meet specifications.

Current valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.

Perform basic mathematical operations rapidly and quickly.

Effectively operate necessary plumbing equipment and tools;
Provide and properly use basic hand tools as required for tasks.

Nice to have certification in plumbing or related field.

Experience with Plumbing systems in commercial/industrial environment.
