Dhaka Technologies Limited Company (DTLC) is hiring Maintenance Technicians on behalf of our client, a public housing agency serving the Roanoke, Virginia area. This position performs skilled and semi-skilled tradeswork of moderate difficulty in the repair and maintenance of the client'sbuildings, housing units, grounds, and related facilities. This is a hands-on technical role for a candidate with demonstrated multi-trade repair experience.

You will be employed and paid by DTLC and assigned on-site with our client.

• Perform skilled and semi-skilled trades work of moderatedifficulty in the repair and maintenance of buildings, occupied and vacanthousing units, grounds, and related facilities.
• Diagnose and complete repairs across multiple trade areas, whichmay include general carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical,appliance repair, HVAC support, locks and hardware, flooring, and fixturereplacement, consistent with skill level and applicable licensing.
• Perform preventive maintenance and equipment servicing on buildingsystems and equipment.
• Support unit turnover and make-ready work in occupied and vacanthousing units.
• Perform grounds and exterior maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Operate a motor vehicle to travel between assigned propertylocations.
• Comply with all applicable client policies and procedures,including reading and acknowledging policies provided by the assigned department.
• Submit a completed time card at the end of each work week documenting days and hours worked.
• Follow all Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards and all applicable federal, state, and local safety and occupational health standards, including regulations issued by the Virginia Department of Labor and Industry under Title 40.1 of the Code of Virginia.
• Remain available for the entire length of the assignment.

• High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
• Two (2) years of experience in building and equipment repair and maintenance work.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Virginia Motor Vehicle Operator's license (driver'slicense).
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Demonstrated ability to perform skilled and semi-skilled tradeswork of moderate difficulty with limited supervision.
• Available to work 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., five (5) days per week,plus weekend and overtime work as needed.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with orwithout reasonable accommodation.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States; employment eligibility verified through E-Verify.
• Prior maintenance technician experience in public housing,affordable housing, or multifamily residential property management.
• Trade certification or licensure in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, ora related trade.
• Experience with unit turnover / make-ready workflows and workorder systems.
• Familiarity with HUD Uniform Physical Condition Standards (UPCS) or National Standards for the Physical Inspection of Real Estate (NSPIRE).

• A Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) record check is required.
