The City of Roanoke is seeking an experienced, self-motivated mechanic to diagnose, repair, and service a wide range of medium and heavy automotive and specialized equipment, including diesel or gasoline engines and hydraulic systems.
An eligible candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, 3–5 years of related experience, be able to qualify for State Inspector certification, hold a Class B CDL, and obtain two ASE certifications within one year.
