The City of Roanoke is seeking an experienced, self‑motivated mechanic to diagnose, adjust and service a wide range of medium and heavy automotive and specialized equipment.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, 3–5 years of related experience or training, a Class B CDL and be eligible for State Inspector certification; ASE certifications within 1 year are required. This is a non‑exempt, full‑time position with occasional nights and weekends.
