- Responsible for the installation of building automation systems
- Use a variety of hand tools and interpret control drawings to install temperature control systems
- Prepare for on-site installation by examining building layout and coordinating with other trades
- Maintain assigned stock of inventory and company equipment
- Document work by completing paperwork on each job
- Serve as the direct customer contact and ensure customer satisfaction
- Keep current on Trane products concerning installation of direct digital control systems
- Inspect and maintain vehicles and tools
- Enforce safety standards and maintain security/accountability of company assets
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2-5 years of experience in HVAC/Controls
- Technical School or formal training is preferred
- Operating knowledge of Microsoft office software
- Working proficiency with handheld computers (i.e. Smartphone, iPad)
- Knowledge of low voltage electricity and electronics (board level troubleshooting)
- Experience with direct digital controls and building control techniques
- Valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations
Demonstrates expertise in the installation and maintenance of building automation systems, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and safety standards. Proficient in low voltage electricity, direct digital controls, and effective communication with various trades.
