The City of Roanoke invites teens ages 14 to 18 to join the Teen Apprenticeship under the Star City Safe initiative. This paid, part-time program (not to exceed 32 hours per week) lets participants learn in multiple departments, including Libraries, Parks & Recreation, Technology, Berglund Center, Police, Sheriff, Public Works, and General Services, while observing safety codes and completing assignments.
