Mainframe Developer Onsite, Dallas, TX area What You Will Do

• Develop and maintain core mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, JCL, and related tools.
• Collaborate closely with business and systems partners to deliver high-quality enhancements and features.
• Perform detailed analysis for maintenance and upgrades within batch and online environments.
• Support software releases, troubleshoot critical production issues, and ensure data security.
• Engage in testing, documentation, and deploying new solutions, following best practices.

• 7-10+ years of hands‑on software development experience with mainframe technologies including COBOL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, JCL, and IBM Utilities.
• Strong knowledge of SQL over DB2, debugging, scheduling, and test processes.
• Proven experience handling high-severity production issues and performing detailed system analysis.
• Ability to design, deploy, and support system enhancements while maintaining data security.
• Excellent documentation skills.

• Experience with COBOL stored procedures and native SQL procedures.
• Knowledge of distributed technologies such as Java and RESTful APIs.
• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, especially in hybrid mainframe‑cloud scenarios.

• Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) or higher, or equivalent technical experience preferred.
• Prior experience working in financial services, brokerage, or highly regulated environments is ideal.

Estimated Minimum Rate: $39.20

Estimated Maximum Rate: $56.00
