This position works well for professional CDL‑A truck drivers who prefer structured regional freight and dependable weekly home time.

Equipment & Freight

Drivers operate late‑model sleeper tractors including 2021 or newer Freightliner Cascadia and Kenworth units. Trucks include inverter power systems designed to support comfort during multi‑day regional runs.

Freight consists of grocery distribution loads moving through established supply lanes. Many loads utilize drop trailer operations, while some deliveries involve electric pallet jack unloading. Return movements often route through regional freight hubs, helping maintain productive miles in both directions.

Schedule & Home Time

CDL‑A truck drivers receive weekly home time that includes a full 34‑hour reset.

Drivers living within approximately 30 miles of the distribution location may occasionally complete 10‑hour breaks at home depending on dispatch timing.

Evening, weekend, and holiday freight movement may occur due to the nature of grocery distribution. Regional lanes connect Virginia and West Virginia facilities throughout the week.

Benefits

Medical, dental, and vision coverage begins after 30 days. A 401(k) plan becomes available after six months with company participation. Paid vacation begins after the first year and increases with tenure. One pet may ride along with a one‑time pet policy fee.
