We are a privately owned and growing chemical distribution company seeking a Truck Driver with a CDL Class A with Hazmat / Tanker endorsements on license to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Transports hazardous materials.
• Perform the daily safety checks of equipment
• Properly secure loads for safe transport
• Inspects truck equipment for DOT compliance and ensures that repair notices are given to management.
• Follow all applicable traffic laws.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Must have CDL Class A Endorsement, hazmat and tanker on driver's license
• Must have two years’ experience transporting hazardous material with semi-trucks and trailers/tankers
• Knowledge of DOT regulations
• Ability to operate a forklift (prior certification required).
• Must be able speak and understand English well.
• Have good communication skills (written and oral).
• Ability to read and identify sequences of numbers.
• Have basic computer skills
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be able to pass a drug screen including marijuana
