Order Fulfillment Order Picker - 1st Shift

Onsite Role (Full-time): Requires presence at our Roanoke, Virginia office.

The Ecom packer will perform a variety of distribution tasks that require special training to execute efficiently and accurately. Responsibilities include picking orders using a pick‑to‑light system, auditing, packing, and filling consumer orders accurately. The role also involves making entry transactions in the Warehouse Management System and DOCS, and must be knowledgeable of the specifications and regulations required for shipping hazardous goods.

• Utilizes the Diamond Phoenix Pick‑to‑Light System and DOCS WMS to pick and place the correct product into shipping cartons, maintaining an aggressive picking rate and keeping the error rate below the maximum set by management.
• Reads the WMS packing system and places the correct items into a shipping carton, meeting all pack‑out requirements and customer shipping guidelines.
• Performs duties such as filling cartons with paper, tissue paper, sample product and sealing consumer cartons for shipping protection.
• Is capable of being trained to perform duties in other areas of the business when not performing Ecom pack‑out duties.
• Has access to information in the Warehouse Management System, such as warehouse locations, item inquiries, pick and pack confirm operations, and Ecom packing duties at value‑add stations.
• Supports the 6S Lean Program.
• Is flexible to cross‑train and support all areas within the warehouse.

• High school diploma or secondary GED minimum.
• At least 1 year of experience in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.
• Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
• Ability to lift 10‑15 lbs on a regular basis, with occasional loads up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, turn and bend for up to 10 hours a day.
• Ability to operate a pallet jack and warehouse computer systems.
• Experience with Windows, Microsoft Word and Excel is a plus.

Shift hours: Monday – Thursday 7:00 am – 5:30 pm

Compensation: Base pay range $16.50 per hour (may vary based on skills, experience, geographic location). Certain positions may be eligible for short‑term incentives.
