Position Description

Pay Rate: $18.00/hour. The primary focus of the Warehouse II role is movement of product within the warehouse. Additionally, this role serves as backup delivery driver for non‑CDL trucks. This is a general labor position that will prioritize and pick product to fill orders, and physically move and lift product weighing up to 150 pounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in administrative tasks, such as handling and preparation of paperwork.
  • Assist in the daily closing of the warehouse.
  • Verify all incoming and outgoing products for accuracy in amount, size and type; inform management of inventory and supply shortages and assist in periodic inventory counts.
  • Compile and submit regular reports of damaged, outdated stock or supplies, over and under shipments, return of products to vendor, etc., and segregate defective product from normal flow of inventory.
  • Prioritize and pick material to fill orders and stage product for loading.
  • Designate and organize the warehouse stock by product line and by physical alignment, allowing sufficient space for overflow.
  • Load and unload delivery trucks, lifting products weighing up to approximately 50 pounds.
  • Handle tires greater than approximately 50 pounds by rolling, destacking, team lifting.
  • Operate powered industrial vehicles (forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers) safely and maintain an operator license as required.
  • Perform periodic facilities maintenance and/or custodial tasks such as cleaning parking lot, loading dock, and surrounding area; keep floors clear of debris, maintain bathrooms and assist in daily closing down of warehouse.

Qualifications
  • High School or GED degree.
  • 1–2 years of related experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in policy & procedures, storage, and verbal communication.
Physical Demands

Although the position is primarily inside a warehouse, occasional standing, walking, sitting, use of hands to pick or feel objects, reaching, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking, hearing, tasting, or smelling are required. Employees may occasionally lift products up to 150 pounds; handle tires > 50 pounds when rolling, destacking, or team lifting. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

The work environment may expose employees to weather conditions and moderate noise.
