Overview
Locations: Roanoke
Pay Range: $17.40 - $18.40 Hourly, depending on experience
Schedule: 2nd Shift, 4:00 PM start time until work is finished

Job OverviewThe Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for fulfilling Customer Orders by retrieving and stacking product as specified on the Pick Ticket or computer screen. Duties are performed across the Warehouse’s Pick Area to build stable pallets while meeting safety, accuracy, and efficiency expectations.
Responsibilities- Retrieve and place quantities of cases onto a pre-determined pallet in a manner that is safe and builds a stable pallet, meeting safety, accuracy, and efficiency standards.
- Transport pallets to different areas of the Warehouse using a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) such as a Pallet Jack, safely and efficiently.
- Assist with Warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping as assigned or needed.
- Perform daily PIT Checklist and report any issues to Warehouse Management.
- Correct mistakes as identified by the Checker for product or quantity accuracy.
- Support additional duties as assigned and perform miscellaneous activities to sustain warehouse operations in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive lifting up to 30 lbs and occasional lifts up to 75 lbs.
- Team collaboration and ability to coordinate efficient warehouse processes.
- Ability to read and interpret computer-screen instructions and differentiate packages with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a noisy, non-climate-controlled environment (hot in summer, cold in winter).
- Self-starter mindset with initiative to identify value-add opportunities.
- Flexibility with schedules and hours to meet business demand.
- Knowledge acquired through up to 12 months of work experience.
- PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) Certification:
Pallet Jack.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Knowledge acquired through up to 12 months of work experience.

- Noisy and non-temperature-controlled environment (hot in summer, cold in winter).
