Subsidiary Steel Dynamics Overview
Responsible for issuing the proper supplies and equipment and maintaining accurate records of stock in a safe and efficient manner.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:
- Candidate must be willing and able to:
- Understand and operate the computer terminal
- Licensed to operate mobile equipment
- Receive and stock supplies
- Conduct cycle counts accurately
- Perform other duties as required
- Maintain housekeeping
- Perform daily mobile equipment inspections
REQUIRED:
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Must have excellent math skills
- Must be detailed oriented
- Self-starter with ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work extra hours and weekends as needed
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to climb stairs as necessary
- Ability to deal with frequent changes, delays or unexpected events
PREFERRED:
- Basic computer skills and forklift experience
