We are seeking a Director of Information Technology. This position is responsible for overseeing the technology infrastructure and ensuring the optimal performance, security, and scalability of Citizens Independent Bank’s IT systems. This includes leadership and management of core platforms such as Microsoft 365 (M365), Hyper‑V virtualization, Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) solutions, Network‑as‑a‑Service (NaaS) environments, and the administration and operational oversight of Jack Henry’s Silver Lake core banking system.

The IT Director will develop and execute technology strategies that support the Bank’s operational goals, digital banking initiatives, and long‑term technology roadmap. This role collaborates with leadership teams, department heads, and external vendors to ensure technology services are secure, highly available, innovative, and aligned with exceptional customer service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic IT Leadership: Provide strategic technology leadership that supports the bank’s business goals, growth initiatives, and commitment to community banking.
  • IT Infrastructure & Operations Management: Ensure secure, reliable, and efficient IT systems that support core banking operations, digital channels, and branch locations.
  • Cybersecurity &

    Risk Management:

    Safeguard customer data and bank systems by leading cybersecurity, privacy, and technology risk management efforts.
  • Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with core banking, fintech, and technology vendors to ensure strong performance, regulatory readiness, and cost effectiveness.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Documentation: Maintain compliance with banking regulations and examiner expectations through sound controls, policies, and documentation.
  • Customer Experience & Technology Innovation: Enhance customer and employee experiences by thoughtfully introducing technology that improves service, efficiency, and accessibility.
  • Staff Development & Leadership: Recruit, develop and manage the IT team to build strong capabilities, accountability, and a service‑oriented culture.
Qualifications
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field required.
  • Experience:
    • 8–10 years of IT management experience, including leadership responsibilities.
    • Prior experience in a financial institution or banking environment required.
    • Direct experience administering Jack Henry Silver Lake or similar core banking systems strongly preferred.
    • Proven experience managing large‑scale infrastructure including Hyper‑V, M365, UCaaS, and network services.
    • Using a report writing system, preferably Cognos BI.
  • Certifications:

    CISSP, CISM, ITIL, PMP, Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-102, AZ-900), or related certifications preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Silver Lake core banking operations, data flows, and system integrations.
  • Expertise in M365 administration, identity security, and cloud governance.
  • Strong knowledge of Hyper‑V virtualization, UCaaS communication systems, and NaaS network models.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Working Conditions
  • Full‑time role, typically 40 hours per week, with flexibility required for work that must be performed outside normal business hours, incidents or emergencies.
  • Travel to branch locations, vendor meetings and conferences may be required.

Salary and Benefits
  • Salary Range: $115,000 - $165,000 DOQ
