Janitorial Associate

Role summary

Janitorial associates ensure customers have a great first and last impression of our stores. They look after the cleanliness of the store from the parking lot to restrooms to the receiving area and maintain a clean and safe environment.

You play a major role in how our customers feel when they leave the store. You might be the first, last, and sometimes only associate a customer interacts with, so it’s important to smile, greet, and thank every customer. You act as an ambassador for Walmart, working in a fast‑paced environment that can be intense, especially in evenings, weekends, and holiday seasons.

Your tasks include scanning items, explaining prices, bagging items, counting cash back, and keeping your area clean while juggling multiple responsibilities.

• Answer customer questions and help them with their needs.
