Join Spectrum Environmental Services Inc. as a Senior Staff Scientist. Spectrum is a multifaceted company offering industrial plant services, waste transportation and disposal, infrastructure and pipe services, and environmental consulting solutions to meet customer environmental challenges.

Spectrum Environmental, Inc. is an established firm with over 30 years in business and offices in Mobile, Birmingham, and Nashville. We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team at the Robertsdale, Alabama office. The successful candidate should be a great communicator and possess characteristics of a servant leader. Although we expect the chosen candidate to further define, develop, and lead in their role, the framework of expectations is outlined below.

• A Bachelor of Science degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Biology or a related environmental field.
• 3+ years’ experience in the environmental field.
• Experience with Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments.
• Soil and groundwater sampling.
• Knowledge of Natural Resources (wetlands, threatened/endangered species, cultural resources).
• Construction/Industrial Stormwater Experience is a plus.
• Staff training and development (related to Assessment, Natural Resources and Stormwater).
• Task/Project management and coordination.
• Willingness to take on other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned.
