Respiratory Therapist (RT PEDS) — Nights — in the local area. Description:
The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for delivering cardiopulmonary care to pediatric patients. Tasks include conducting respiratory assessments, initiating therapeutic procedures, and maintaining accurate patient records in accordance with department policies. - Required Qualifications: Current Illinois Respiratory Therapist License, BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS certifications, and at least 1 year of respiratory therapy experience are required.
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The Respiratory Therapist will perform assessments, administer medications, conduct diagnostic tests, and ensure equipment calibration and proper documentation. The role emphasizes safety, adherence to safety procedures, and participation in performance improvement activities.
