Overview
The PC and general hardware support technician will provide comprehensive computer hardware and infrastructure support for a refinery environment. The role includes resolving service desk tickets and providing direct customer support and ongoing technology maintenance for the business environment.
Responsibilities- Resolve service desk tickets.
- Provide direct customer support and ongoing technology maintenance.
- Work as a self‑starter and communicate effectively with customers and peers.
- Support field IT systems, including desktop and laptop hardware, Microsoft Windows operating systems, software installation, network and stand‑alone printers, remote access, audio‑visual equipment, mobile devices, Cisco telephones, radios, and server hardware.
- Work independently, manage priorities and time.
- Demonstrate strong people skills, confidence in technical skills and a team‑player mentality.
- Intermediate level experience.
- Ability to work onsite in a refinery environment.
- Clean‑shaven requirement for safety gear compatibility.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Technical proficiency in Desktop, Windows 10, Active Directory, help‑desk support, and troubleshooting.

Hourly rate: $40.00 – $45.00/hr.
Location:
Robinson, IL (fully onsite).
