Job Summary
Mid level server administrator with background in manufacturing processes. Focus on Windows, virtualization, backups, etc. Same OT type person sought across refining sites.
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications- Platform Management: strong understanding of platform management tools for server administration, compute, storage, and networking.
- Knowledge of OT's critical role in maintaining operational continuity.
- Compliance: ensure OT systems comply with applicable standards and frameworks; interpret corporate security, risk, and compliance policies; maintain compliance documentation.
- Server and Virtualization: extensive experience managing physical and virtual servers using VMware and Hyper‑V; resource allocation, performance tuning, capacity planning, scalable infrastructure deployment.
- Windows Server Administration: in-depth knowledge of Windows Server OS installation, configuration, management;
Active Directory, Group Policy, Power Shell, DHCP, DNS, IIS, file/print services; patch management, firewall configuration, access control. - Strong automation, SCCM, Power Shell scripting background.
- Network Management: experience configuring and managing switches, routers, firewalls; VPNs, network segmentation, intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Operational Technology (OT): preferred experience in OT environments, including DCS and SCADA.

Experience:
proficiency in AD, Group Policy, Power Shell, Windows Server administration for users, permissions, configurations. - Virtualization Expertise: hands‑on experience with VMware or Hyper‑V for deploying, managing, optimizing virtual environments.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, knowledge of systems architecture, and ability to communicate technical information to non‑technical staff.
- Experience Level: Intermediate.

Contract position based out of Robinson, IL. Fully onsite.
Pay: $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
