HTST Pasteurization Control Room Operator, Manufacturing

Position Summary

Walmart is expanding with its third company‑owned milk processing facility to serve over 750 stores across Texas and surrounding states. The state‑of‑the‑art facility will produce high‑quality milk products under Great Value and Member’s Mark, using milk sourced primarily from Texas dairy farmers.

• Schedule, process, and produce dairy products while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of processing areas before and after use.
• Operate the HTST system and HMI systems in accordance with PMO standards.
• Monitor and adjust milk unloading schedules as needed.
• Coordinate CIP systems and chocolate batching in alignment with PMO and food safety plans.
• Identify process issues and deviations, escalating to management when necessary.
• Adhere to all company safety procedures, use personal protective equipment, and report hazards, near misses, injuries, or accidents immediately.
• Participate in safety trainings, drills, and continuous improvement of safety protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with managers, coworkers, and business partners to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Communicate progress and relevant information clearly and proactively.
• Adapt to change, learn from difficulties and feedback, and seek opportunities for improvement.
• Complete work assignments and prioritize responsibilities while upholding company policies and standards of ethics.

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Knowledge of hazard analysis and critical control points (HACCP).
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements, and Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards.

• Prior experience in dairy or food processing.
• Demonstrated ability to apply process improvement techniques.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
