Requirements:

• Current RN License (State required)
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse (preferred experience in chemotherapy)
• Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate EMR programs

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in accordance with professional standards and minimal supervision.
• Perform comprehensive assessments, including pain assessments, and re-evaluate treatment effectiveness based on patient responses.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and follow-up instructions.
• Initiate IVs via central venous devices or peripheral access and administer medications including blood transfusions and drug infusions as directed by licensed practitioners.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and utilize specialty equipment to assist with procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Document accurate patient medical histories and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
