Position Summary

Walmart is expanding with its third company‑owned milk processing facility to serve over 750 stores across Texas and surrounding states. This state‑of‑the‑art facility will produce high‑quality milk products under Great Value and Member’s Mark, using milk sourced primarily from Texas dairy farmers.

What you’ll do
  • Responsible for the scheduling, processing, and production of product.
  • Ensures processing areas are clean before and after use.
  • Monitors and operates the HTST system according to PMO standards, including daily use of computers and HMI systems.
  • Monitoring and adjusting milk unloading schedules as necessary.
  • Coordinates CIP systems according to PMO and food safety plans.
  • Coordinates chocolate batching.
  • Identifies process issues or deviations and escalates them to management.
  • Adheres to all company safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Uses personal protective equipment.
  • Operates machinery and equipment safely.
  • Reports hazards, near misses, injuries, or accidents immediately.
  • Participates in safety trainings and drills.
  • Maintains cleanliness in work areas to prevent accidents.
  • Contributes to continuous improvement of safety protocols.
  • Demonstrates awareness of surroundings to ensure own and others’ safety.
  • Prioritizes tasks and completes assignments using policies and available resources.
  • Collaborates with managers, coworkers, and partners to identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations.
  • Communicates progress and relevant information.
  • Identifies and suggests ways to address improvement opportunities.
