HTST Pasteurization Control Room Operator, Manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Schedule processing and production of product.
• Ensure processing areas are clean before and after use.
• Operate the HTST system and computers/HMI per PMO standards.
• Monitor and adjust milk unloading schedules as needed.
• Coordinate CIP systems per PMO and food safety plans.
• Coordinate chocolate batching.
• Identify process issues or deviations and report to management.
• Adhere to all company safety procedures and guidelines.
• Use personal protective equipment.
• Operate machinery and equipment safely.
• Report hazards, near‑misses, injuries or accidents immediately.
• Participate in safety trainings and drills.
• Maintain cleanliness in work areas to prevent accidents.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of safety protocols.
• Stay aware of surroundings to ensure personal and others’ safety.
• Accomplish work assignments and prioritize tasks using policies and resources.
• Collaborate effectively with managers, coworkers and business partners.
• Communicate progress and relevant information on tasks.
• Identify and suggest improvement opportunities.
• Demonstrate adaptability and willingness to learn.
• Comply with company policies, procedures and ethical standards.

The hourly wage range for this position is $24.20 – $30.30, with additional premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience working with hazard analysis and critical control points (HACCP).
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) requirements.
