After School Program Mentor

Location:

Robinson, TX, US. Non‑exempt, part‑time position averaging 17–20 hours per week.

Primary duties:
Foster youth development in an after‑school setting by leading elementary students in enrichment activities.

• Agree with and exhibit behaviors in accordance with the Mentoring Alliance Statement of Faith
• Must be at least 17 years of age
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred; some post‑secondary training highly preferred
• Pass a mandatory Background/Sex offender check
• Valid driver’s license or valid ; legally allowed to work in the United States
• Dependable transportation
• Spanish‑speaking ability greatly valued
• Ability to earn CPR/First Aid certification (mandatory)

• Monday – Friday, 2:00p.m. – 6:00p.m. during the school calendar year

As a Christian ministry, we are geared toward serving kids and students in our community by offering after‑school care and enrichment activities. Our team members must have the desire to influence, impact, and serve the kids and families in our community. We consider an After School Program Mentor to be first and foremost a Minister of the Gospel.
