Civil Project Engineer

Tesla is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to support the execution of major site infrastructure and construction activities at its Corpus Christi Lithium Refinery. This individual will play a critical role in coordinating civil construction scopes, managing contractor relationships, supporting commercial execution, and driving project progress across multiple work streams.

The ideal candidate will have a Civil Engineering degree and 1-3 years of engineering or construction experience. Tesla is particularly interested in candidates who have gained hands-on construction exposure through internships, co-ops, field engineering assignments, or previous trade experience before completing their degree.

This position offers an opportunity to work on one of the most innovative industrial construction projects in the country while collaborating with engineering, procurement, project controls, construction, and contractor teams.

Responsibilities include project execution and contract administration support, procurement and contractor management, construction coordination, project reporting and communication, and safety and team collaboration.

Candidates should have experience supporting one or more of the following: road construction, site surfacing & paving, underground utilities, earthwork & mass grading, foundations, site development, industrial infrastructure, and heavy civil construction.
