Special Education Teacher in Robstown, TX

Qualifications:

• Active Texas DOE Teaching Certification in Special Education (or eligibility to obtain)
• Ability to complete Texas fingerprinting/credentialing requirements quickly
• Experience instructing students with Autism or significant behavioral needs strongly preferred
• Must not have been a former employee of the district (per client guidelines)
• Flexible, proactive, and committed to the well-being and progress of diverse learners
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Deliver specialized instruction adapted to each student's needs
• Employ evidence-based interventions for Autism and behavioral challenges
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and administrators
• Maintain documentation and participate in IEP meetings as required
