Overview
Plan, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive program of guidance for the school assigned, including counseling services. Provide a proactive developmental guidance program to encourage all students to maximize personal growth and development. This position is primarily office-based with the possibility to work remotely a few days per week as determined by your supervisor.
Responsibilities- Plan, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive program of guidance to the school assigned, including counseling services.
- Provide a proactive developmental guidance program to encourage all students to maximize personal growth and development.
- Maintain visibility within the school community and collaborate with staff to support student development and well-being.
Education/Certification:
- Master s degree in guidance counseling
- Valid Texas counseling certificate
Special Knowledge/
Skills:
- Knowledge of counseling procedures, student appraisal, and career development
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
Experience:
- Two years teaching experience
Technology:
- E-mail, word processing, Internet, Power Point
