Solo Pastor – First Presbyterian Church of Rochelle, Illinois
Congregation Size: ~300 Members
First Presbyterian Church of Rochelle, Illinois, is seeking a full‑time Pastor who is called to shepherd a traditional, theologically conservative congregation with a deep love for Scripture, reverent worship, and faithful discipleship. We are a warm, multigenerational church with approximately 300 members, rooted in historic Reformed faith and committed to proclaiming the Gospel with clarity and conviction.

Our total compensation ranges from $82,000 to $127,000 and includes all benefits. Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Spiritual & Theological Qualifications
- Affirms the authority of Scripture and the essentials of historic Reformed theology
- Demonstrates a mature, personal relationship with Jesus Christ
- Is committed to conservative, biblically grounded preaching and teaching
Pastoral Responsibilities
- Provide clear, Christ‑centered preaching
- Lead worship services with reverence and theological depth
- Offer pastoral care, including counseling, hospital visits, and ministry to shut‑ins
- Equip and encourage the congregation for discipleship and service
- Provide leadership to staff, elders, and ministry teams
- Engage the community with humility, compassion, and Gospel conviction

- A shepherd’s heart with a servant‑leader posture
- Strong communicator with relational warmth
- Able to guide a congregation through growth, change, and spiritual formation
- Committed to prayer, integrity, and pastoral presence
