What you’ll doAs a Senior Project Engineer you will make independent decisions under pressure, tackle transportation, private development, stormwater or hydraulic modeling challenges, and plan and coordinate projects.
- Plan and coordinate work.
- Apply standard engineering practices and techniques.
- Adjust and correlate data.
- Recognize discrepancies and follow standard procedures.
- Build relationships with clients.
- Work effectively under tight deadlines.
Ideally, you hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering and have five or more years of experience in civil design and project management, preferably at a professional consulting firm. You should be a licensed professional engineer or demonstrate the ability to secure licensure shortly after starting employment.
