SUMMARYThe Maintenance Supervisor position requires an individual who has demonstrated success in a fast-paced medium to heavy manufacturing environment. Responsibilities will include the safe direction of a small group of multi-trade employees that perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair, and install new equipment. This is a 'hands-on' position and requires technical expertise in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's), electrical, pneumatics, mechanical drives, and hydraulics.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Supervises a group of multi-trade maintenance employees
- Provides technical direction to Maintenance Team to ensure that equipment and machines are maintained properly and working correctly.
- Analyzes equipment or machinery data (failures) and preventative maintenance program and takes corrective action.
- Provides technical training to management and Multi-Trade team members.
- Reviews electrical/maintenance schematics to As-Built Equipment, verifying safety systems.
- Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
- Comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules.
- Must be able to improve Maintenance processes and methods for cost-reduction, quality improvement and efficiency.
- Must prepare and present plans for the above and coordinate deployment including training of Multi-Trade team members.
- Must be able to assist Maintenance Manager in improving the Maintenance Inventory System, including cost controls
- Lead or participate on committees/teams as directed by Maintenance Manager

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS- Lifting - Up to 50lbs.
- Standing - 6 or more hours per day.
- Walking - Off and on, 4-6 hours per day.
- Body Positions - Squatting, bending, flexing and extending both arms.
- Sitting - 2 or more hours per day.
- Manufacturing facility -- exposed to heat and cold
- Office Environment -- 1st Shift Position
- Personal Protective Equipment always required while on the plant floor
- Controlled Noise exposure
