Battery Changer Technician – Lineage

Wednesday – Saturday 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Wednesday – Saturday 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM

• Conduct preventive maintenance within manufacturer’s specifications and established timelines to include watering, washing, acid spill clean‑up, battery rack clean‑up, positive/negative cable repairs, and connector replacements to batteries and charging equipment
• Maintain reporting of required inspections, evaluations, and preventive maintenance procedures
• Communicate all pertinent equipment operation and maintenance information to leadership daily
• Complete work order tasks and ensure all performed work is logged into the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) daily
• Maintain current inventory asset logs for battery and charging equipment
• Assist maintenance leadership in maintaining and managing parts inventories

• Assist maintenance leadership in maintaining and managing parts inventories

• 1-year material handling equipment or battery/charger maintenance experience
• Demonstrated experience working with lead acid batteries, and electrical charging equipment
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization
• Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work to ensure timely deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to input data with a high accuracy rating and attention to detail
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as
  -20 F/-25 C in cold storage sites or up to 100 F/37 C in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
• Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud

Pay Range: $15.19 – $25.58
