This role is ideal for candidates with quality, manufacturing, agriculture, food production, or lab experience who are passionate about safety and product quality.  _The position works a rotating swing shift schedule of 5 days on/2 days off, followed by 2 days on/5 days off, providing frequent extended time off, including every other weekend off. Employees rotate between 7:00 AM-7:00 PM day shifts and 7:00 PM-7:00 AM night shifts, receive a night shift differential, and work holidays as scheduled._

* ** Responsibilities*
* + Maintain a thorough understanding of all quality requirements for producing Ethanol/DDGs/WDGs/ICO.

+ Perform routine testing on inbound, in-process, and finished products in a timely manner.

+ Conduct testing and routine maintenance on water treatment systems and make operational adjustments asneeded.

+ Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations.

+ Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.

+ Utilize lab equipment (HPLC, IC, GC, Cell Counter, IR, NIR, Titrators) and have the ability to troubleshootinstrument issues.

+ Perform additional testing as needed. Participate in training opportunities to further product safety and quality knowledge.

+ Collaborate with plant leadership team to identify and make final decisions on product quality challenges.

+ Adhere to feed safety and good manufacturing policies at all times.

+ Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.

+ Maintain clean and safe work area at all times.

+ Ability to work overtime or holidays if needed.

+ Perform other duties as assigned.

** Minimum Qualifications (required)*
* + 1+ years of experience in Quality Management and/or Quality Assurance

+ High School diploma or GED

** Additional Qualifications*
* + Prior experience in a Quality Assurance role in food production or agriculture

+ Prior experience in large-scale chemical or processing environments.

+

Experience with mobile equipment (forklift, electric pallet jack, aerial lift, etc.)

+

Experience with safety programs including Lock Out/Tag Out, confined space, line break, and chemicalhazard communication/chemical hygiene.

Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
