First Presbyterian Church of Rochelle, Illinois, a historic congregation rooted in the Reformed tradition, is seeking a full‑time Senior Pastor to provide spiritual leadership, biblical preaching, and pastoral care to a traditional, theologically conservative church family. Our congregation of approximately 300 members is committed to reverent worship, discipleship, and faithful engagement with our community.

The Senior Pastor will serve as the primary preacher, spiritual shepherd, and leader of the congregation. We seek someone who demonstrates maturity in Christ, clarity in teaching, and a heart for pastoral care.

• Master of Divinity (M.Div.) or equivalent from an accredited seminary
• Alignment with historic Reformed theology and a high view of biblical authority
• Demonstrated ability in expository, Christ‑centered preaching
• Strong pastoral presence, relational warmth, and integrity
• Commitment to traditional worship and congregational leadership

• Preach and lead worship services with theological depth and clarity
• Provide pastoral care, including visitation, counseling, and prayer
• Equip the congregation for discipleship, mission, and service
• Lead and collaborate with staff, elders, and ministry teams
• Engage the local community with humility and Gospel conviction

We offer a total compensation range of $80,000 – $110,000 commensurate with experience and qualifications. This includes salary, housing allowance, benefits, and professional expenses.
