Job Overview

We are immediately hiring an Operations Supervisor for our Rochelle, IL team. The role supervises day‑to‑day logistics operations, coaches hourly representatives, and ensures compliance with safety and performance standards.

Salary
: $70,000 – $75,000 per year + benefits and PTO.

Schedule
:
Monday – Friday, 5:00 pm – 1:30 am.

• Supervise, coordinate, and oversee day‑to‑day logistics operations.
• Plan and review processes with the Logistics Manager to meet company standards and customer specifications.
• Develop work schedules, procedures, and coordinate crew activities for optimal shift performance.
• Accountable for site Key Performance Indications (KPI).
• Collaborate with customers across all aspects of operations.
• Meet regularly with team members to monitor progress, coach, counsel, and recognize successes.
• Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and improve internal processes.
• Conduct performance evaluations, recommend awards and/or merit increases.
• Address performance problems through corrective action and disciplinary processes.
• Understand labor agreements and maintain positive employee relations.
• Implement health, safety, and security initiatives mandating adherence to company rules.
• Provide mandatory orientation and information to employees and Lead Hands.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year or more experience in transportation, warehouse, or distribution environment preferred.
• Up to one year of direct supervisory or leadership experience mandatory for some positions.
