Lift Truck Driver - 2nd Shift

Purpose of Position:

Del Monte Foods is the Foods Division of Fresh Del Monte, a global grower, producer and marketer of fresh, value-added, and shelf-stable produce. Del Monte Foods has a powerful portfolio of brands, including the iconic Del Monte, Contadina and S&W. We are currently seeking Seasonal Worker III - Lift Truck Driver for 2nd Shift. The Seasonal Worker III - Lift Truck Driver is responsible for the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks within the Distribution Center.

This is a temporary seasonal position that supports key DC functions including receiving, shipping, order picking, inventory management, and product put-away, while maintaining compliance with safety standards, GMP, and engineered labor standards.

Accountabilities:

* Drive pallets to and from label lines, wrapper machine, and store product in correct warehouse rows.

* Restock divider sheets and wooden pallets to gallon machines.

* Perform other driver duties as required.

* Maintain open communication with stock controllers and supervisors.

* Keep work area clean, neat, and orderly.

* Comply with OSHA, GMP, and all applicable safety standards.

* Assist in maintaining warehouse security.

Minimum

Skills Required:

* Basic proficiency in reading, writing, and math

* Basic computer skills

* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

* Powered industrial lift truck qualification

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

* Strong teamwork and communication skills

* Compliance with OSHA, GMP, and safety standards.

* Prior experience operating powered industrial lift trucks

* Experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment

* Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

* Any equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered.
