Seasonal Grain Elevator Scale​/Probe Clerk

Help support local agriculture this harvest season. In this role you will greet drivers, collect grain samples, and assist with scale operations to keep grain flowing efficiently. Target hire date 8/15/2026; pay rate $18/hour.

• Fully participate in the company Safety Program and attend daily pre‑shift meetings.
• Perform all duties in compliance with OSHA, company safety, and environmental regulations (ISO where applicable) and wear appropriate PPE.
• Identify inbound trucks; weigh in trucks, record information, and take samples where applicable.
• Perform grading tests required for specific grains.
• Electronically record information required (e.g., grades, splits).
• Direct trucks to the appropriate location.
• Weigh out empty trucks and record information accurately.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with customers while keeping the truck line moving.
• Complete documentation timely, accurately, and legibly.
• Label and store samples according to facility protocol.
• Perform general clean‑up of the scale/probe house inside the work area.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Actual responsibilities will vary depending on daily needs and type of facility.

• Education – High school diploma or equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  Grain grader and/or weighing certificate. If not obtained before hire, must obtain in time applicable to perform job duties.
