Role DescriptionThe Assistant to Office Manager is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Rochester Hills, MI. This position supports the Office Manager with daily administrative and clerical tasks, including organizing documents, managing office supplies, and maintaining filing systems. Responsibilities include answering and directing phone calls, greeting visitors, handling incoming and outgoing mail, and assisting with scheduling, data entry, and basic reporting. The role also involves supporting internal communication, coordinating with warehouse and operations staff as needed, and helping ensure smooth day‑to‑day office operations.
Qualifications- Candidates should possess strong Administrative Assistance and Clerical Skills to support office operations and documentation.
- Candidates should possess excellent Phone Etiquette and Communication skills for professional interaction with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Candidates should possess Executive Administrative Assistance skills to support the Office Manager with scheduling, correspondence, and coordination tasks.
- Candidates should have proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., email, word processing, spreadsheets) and office equipment.
- Candidates should demonstrate strong organization, time management, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Candidates should be able to work on‑site in Rochester Hills, MI, collaborate effectively with diverse teams, and maintain a professional demeanor.
- Previous experience in an office or administrative role is preferred; experience in warehousing, logistics, or distribution is a plus.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional coursework or training in business administration or related fields is beneficial.
